Denv-R

Denv-R builds small floating data-center barges for urban rivers, using a passive closed-loop system that dissipates heat into the river without consuming water, topped up by onboard solar. Its Iroko demonstrator, a 200kW four-rack unit on a float, was inaugurated at the Port of Nantes in October 2024 and has operated as a real cloud installation serving local clients. The company, part-backed by TotalEnergies, is now commercialising the design and studying an offshore version powered by swell.
