Kinetics

Kinetics, part of the Karpowership group, is developing the power architecture for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines' floating data-center concept, pairing converted data-center ships with mobile generating vessels. Electricity comes from LNG or other fuels and could later blend offshore wind, solar or shore supply, while seawater handles the heat load. The project reached MOU and engineering design stage in 2025 with nothing operating.
