Madari Space

Madari Space is an Abu Dhabi startup out of Masdar City working on data storage and processing infrastructure in low Earth orbit, using solar power and radiative cooling to sidestep terrestrial land and energy constraints. It has collaborated with a Thales Alenia Space industrial accelerator and planned a toaster-sized demonstration payload on an Emirati satellite. It remains a very small early R&D operation with no confirmed launch, funding round, or operating service.

Ecosystem functionThe Gulf's only native orbital-compute venture, giving the UAE a domestic seat in a field otherwise split between the US and China.
