Mocean Energy

Mocean Energy builds hinged-raft wave energy buoys and has extended the design into Blue Core, a floating unit combining wave generation, solar, batteries and AI server racks with the sea as heat sink, so the electricity is consumed on site rather than transmitted ashore. It has demonstrated its Blue X wave hardware in real sea conditions off Orkney. The integrated Blue Core compute unit remains a funded development programme targeting a pilot around 2028.
