SiFive licenses RISC-V processor core IP and custom silicon design services, positioning itself as an open-standard alternative to Arm for AI accelerators, NICs, and edge chips. It has raised funding from Intel Capital and others and licensed cores to customers including Google's TPU-adjacent silicon efforts. SiFive has shipped licensable RISC-V IP cores in production designs across multiple customers as of 2025, but has not disclosed FY2025 revenue.
